In «Blast», a red balloon is pushed over the camera lens and filled from the other side with air. The viewer now seems to be inside the balloon and watches as I inflate it. As this happens the rubber skin becomes more and more thin and transparent, so that face becomes ever more clear. Eventually the balloon bursts with a loud bang.

In «Blast» wird ein roter Ballon über das Kameraauge gestülpt und von der anderen Seite mit Luft gefüllt. So wähnt sich der Betrachter im Inneren des Ballons und sieht zu, wie ich diesen aufblase. Dabei wird die Gummihaut des Ballons immer dünner und transparenter, sodass mein Gesicht immer deutlicher sichtbar wird. Am Ende zerplatzt der Ballon mit einem lauten Knall.
